These custom-designed replacement bits for the KM Tool-less Countersink feature high-quality HSS drills and counter bores with high-quality brazed carbide cutters. Order them as a discounted package or individually. Note that brazing may be a different color than the steel, and strong welds may be visible.

Jonathan’s Hot Take:

We recommend using our bits, but the body accepts any counterbore with a ¼-28 thread. You can add replacements from McMaster-Carr or elsewhere for counterboring aluminum and steel. Please see the instructions for assembly, cleaning, and disassembly. This countersink accurately handles everything from tiny #3 brass screws to #16 large socket head cap screws and makes cutting clean holes for plugs super easy. Countersinks and drill bits are consumable, so avoid hitting knots, screws, nails, or anything that can cause breakage to the carbide or drill bit.
